Subaru Welcomes Its All-New 2019 Ascent 3-Row SUV

Since the Tribeca SUV bowed out a few years ago, we haven't seen a large-family-friendly vehicle in the Subaru lineup. This year, though, all of that will change, as Subaru welcomes its all-new 2019 Ascent--a seven-to-eight-passenger, three-row SUV that's all Subaru, and promises big things for shoppers. The new model isn't out quite yet, but will be coming soon. Trim levels include the 2019 Ascent, Ascent Premium, Ascent Limited, and Ascent Touring.

A Tempting and Configurable Interior

This large-and-in-charge new SUV isn't just big on the outside--the inside offers plenty of room to stretch out and fill up, with people or cargo. Choose an Ascent configured with middle-row Captain's Chairs for seven-passenger seating, or choose a 2019 Ascent with a middle bench seat for total comfort for up to eight. This is huge--and not just the news.

Recognizable Style in XL

The new Subaru Ascent is instantly identifiable as a Subaru, from the sleek grille, to the muscular and athletic body, to the sharply-angled headlights. Its look is familiar--Outback in length but Forester in stability--but the size is something entirely new for the brand. Even the Tribeca couldn't touch the extra-large size of the all-new Ascent, but it's a big, bold design that we love.

A 3-Row SUV With Turbo Power

The impressive features of the 2019 Ascent just keep on coming--every new midsize SUV comes standard with a turbocharged 260-horsepower SUBARU BOXER engine and standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. When properly-equipped, this all-new SUV can tow up to 5,000 pounds, making it the strongest and most capable Subaru SUV as well as the largest.

The Smarter Family Crossover

Subaru STARLINK infotainment and touchscreen display comes standard in the brand's Multimedia package, and the STARLINK Safety & Security Package--including Wi-Fi capabilities--is available starting on the Premium trim level. For the first time ever in the Subaru lineup, EyeSight driver assistance and safety features will come standard.
