Compare the All-New 2019 Subaru Forester to Top Competition in Durham from Toyota and Honda

The compact SUV market is hot right now. Every major automaker is throwing their hat into the ring, producing a vehicle that is affordable but well-equipped, capable but efficient, spacious but small enough to fit into tight parking spots, and powerful but practical. It's a hard line to walk, but certain SUVs have a much easier time than others. Three of those top options in Durham and the Raleigh area? The Subaru Forester, Toyota RAV4, and Honda CR-V--no surprises here.

Both the Toyota RAV4 and the Subaru have been completely redesigned for 2019, with new looks, new features, and new performance. The Honda CR-V is still in its 2018 MY, but is fresh off its own significant redesign just a few years ago. These SUVs have been butting heads for years: all three have a similar mission, and all feature attractive, subdued styling. But, it's where these three crossovers differ that shows just why Subaru's SUV is frequently chosen by North Carolina drivers over the RAV4 or the CR-V.
