PawsFest

On Saturday, October 5th, we supported local animal sanctuary Paws4Ever for their largest annual fundraiser, PawsFest! Through this event, Paws4Ever raises money to continue caring for animals in need in our community, providing food, shelter, veterinary care and assistance in finding forever homes. 

PawsFest was a fun afternoon for pets and families alike! Held on the green at Chapel Hill's Southern Village, PawsFest featured local vendors, bounce houses, ice cream, music, and lots of opportunities to make furry friends! We enjoyed the chance to meet so many friendly pets and talk with their owners about the joy pets bring to our lives. To close out the event, the pets and owners participated in the PawsFest Walk for Animals, raising money and awareness for animals still seeking homes.  

Subaru is committed to making the world a better place. Through the Subaru Love Promise, we take action in our community throughout the year. With October being Subaru Loves Pets month, sponsoring PawsFest was an ideal way to make a difference for animals in our community. Many of us here at the dealership know first-hand how shelter animals make great pets and become an integral part our family forever. We love to help other animals find their forever families too, and receive the best care possible in the meantime. With our support, Paws4Ever can continue to care for animals in need and make our community a leader in the humane treatment of animals. 

Since 1962, Paws4Ever has grown from a local county animal shelter in Chapel Hill to the 50-acre sanctuary in Mebane that it is today. In addition to providing food, shelter, and veterinary services to animals at their facility, Paws4Ever also relieves overcrowding at other shelters and takes in animals there are no space for. They also set new pet parents up for success by offering guidance and training classes, as well as supplies at their non-profit retail store. Paws4Ever is committed to caring for animals and finding homes for all in need of one. Our team at Subaru Southpoint is passionate about this goal as well and we enjoy the opportunities we have to show compassion for animals in our community.
