This summer we sponsored the 40th Annual Festival for the Eno in Durham, in partnership with the Eno River Association. It was amazing to witness this conservation celebration going strong in its 40th year, with a multitude of artisans, musicians, and informative exhibits filling the park at West Point on the Eno. To show our support for the Festival, we brought our 2019 Subaru Crosstrek in Sunshine Orange hauled a Subaru-load of fun prizes for our sponsor tent! We even found some time to take part in the festivities ourselves, including the awesome hands-on pottery exhibit.

Since 1966, the Eno River Association has protected the natural beauty and local history of the Eno River basin, and has created the state parks and recreation areas we know and enjoy today. As the biggest event of the year for the Association, the Festival generates funds for year-round land protection, clean-up, and educational programs. The association also uses these funds to purchase additional land in the Eno River Basin, expanding the state parks and further preserving the ecosystem.

Subaru understands that when you love nature, you work to preserve it. Through the Subaru Loves the Earth initiative, Subaru partners with conservation programs and organizations to protect natural environments. Our partnership with the Eno River Association makes a local and lasting impact in Durham and the Triangle, providing a natural refuge for people to enjoy and for living things to thrive.  Mark your calendars for next July and help preserve the natural beauty of the Eno with us!
