Spring is near and that means Performance Subaru will be partnering once again with our Hendrick Auto Group to provide Easter dinners for families in the surrounding counties.  This initiative is called Hendrick Cares and was founded by our parent group Hendrick Automotive Group.  The goal this past Thanksgiving 2017 was

Spring is right around the corner and with that means the move to our new location is getting closer and closer.  The dealership is buzzing with "Destination Southpoint" as our client advisors, service advisors, and management staff, talk to our customers and to each other about the new location at Southpoint.

Today’s Transformation Thursday brings us on location with our Client Care Team.  It is always exciting for me to accompany the management staff and employees when they visit the new location for the first time.  There is much excitement and buzz in the air.  My weekly visits to photograph and video the transformation process of the building allows me to bring all of the wonderful progress to the staff and to you.

This week Performance Subaru and Subaru District Sales Manager Kelly Snow met with Durham Meals on Wheels along with  NC Senator Floyd B. McKissick Jr. and Durham NC  Mayor Steve Schewel  to present Meals on Wheels with a brand new Subaru Outback.  Senator McKissick had his Nikon D750 and was snapping photos left and right of Outback Jack and the Meals on Wheels staff and volunteers.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today’s Transformation Thursday brings us on location with our Regional HR Manager Pamela Berfet & Regional HR Coordinator Tameka Brown.  It is always exciting for me to accompany the management staff and employees when they visit the new location for the first time.  There is so much excitement and buzz in the air.  My weekly visits to photograph and video the transformation process of the building allows me to bring all of the wonderful progress to the staff and to you.  


The changes to note this week

This week for Tip Tuesday, I took my camera into the service bay to chat with our technicians and pick their brains for the best service and maintenance tips so we can pass them along to you.

We take for granted that every day when we sit in our cars and turn them on, we expect them to purr and hum like a dream, but as we know to keep them purring and humming, they still need routine maintenance.

For this week’s Transformation Thursday, our management team walked through the buildings to see their new offices, sales showrooms, and service bays. Their excitement was palpable!

 

The new Southpoint location brings wonderful opportunities for the dealership, from growing the inventory to enhancing our staff.  There will be so much more room on the lot and in the dealerships themselves that will bring state-of-the-art equipment for our staff and lounge facilities for our customers.

Wow Wednesday is one of my favorite blog days because I get to go through all of the reviews submitted over the last year and highlight them for everyone.  We get many reviews and no matter the rating, we make sure each one read and addressed.
 

Are Good Reviews High Priority to You?

I never used to write reviews. I would always tell myself I wanted to share the good praise of an experience I had doing business with someone, but it would quickly be moved to the back of my mind as other things became

 

I have been associated with the automotive industry for many years and the reactions to the car-buying process seem to be split; either people hate buying a car or they are indifferent to it.  I have never heard anyone say, I LOVE purchasing a new car.  Of course, they like the result, a new car, but the actual process can seem tedious.

 

I remember making my first car purchase on my own…

I was in college, 20 years old...
