9th Performance Subaru Annual Dog Show 2017
This Saturday, December 9, will be my first official Performance Subaru Dog Show. When I took the Social Media Strategist position in September, little did I know I would get to work with dogs so much and it has been such an awesome experience.
There are many perks to my job and working with dogs is definitely one of them. I’ve enjoyed everyone sending their dog photos in for our annual Performance Subaru Dog Calendar, counting the Facebook votes, announcing the winners and then working with Daisy, our cover dog winner, and her owner Michaela on our December television commercial. Daisy did such a great job and everyone loved having a puppy in the showroom. Having a dog around always puts a smile on anyone’s face no matter what kind of day they are having.
The Excitement Builds!
Now we are two days away from having lots of fur babies and their owners in our Subaru showroom once again and Santa. Yes, SANTA WILL BE HERE TOO! How exciting! There is definitely an excited buzz around the Auto Mall not just in Subaru about this Saturday’s festivities. It would be amazing to see you and your dog on Saturday at 11am. Details & Things to Know On Event Day
· When you and your pup arrive, visit our registration table and check in. All event proceeds will go to Paws4ever, so we are asking for a $10 donation per show entry.
· We WILL register dogs on the day of the event for those last minute entries.
· Your dog will be assigned a number and you will write their name and the category you want to enter.
· To have your dog judged, we will call you to take them to the stage so you can tell us why they should win that category. We love to hear funny and endearing stories so have them prepared. If you are a little shy, like me, just remember we love your dog too and want to hear all about them!
· Once all dogs have had their stories shared on stage, we will then have the judges deliberate and announce the winners for each category and hand out the prizes.
Other Event Day Details
We will have our Performance Subaru 2018 Dog Show Calendars available for sale for only $10. We will have snacks for you and your pups along with awesome raffle prizes. We will have music, but not too loud, and no worries if your pup has an accident, we have a crew that will take care of it in a flash.
Also, DON’T FORGET to have your pup’s picture taken with Santa!
We really are excited about this event and it is our 9th year Performance Subaru has been hosting it, and the first for many to come for me. We can’t wait to see you there!
