Two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of touring our soon-to-be new dealership home at Hendrick Southpoint Auto Mall. The construction has come a long way in a short time, so we are shifting our Transformation Thursday focus from the exterior to the interior.
Subaru interior is being wired for electricity, has completed interior rooms and large expansive service bays.
It was very exciting to tour and see the progress!

Provide larger comfortable state-of-the-art waiting areas for our customers

Provide more parking. Parking is a big issue here, not just for our customers but for our employees as well.

Provide larger service department that require more technicians and leads to employment opportunities for the community and will result in the ability to service more vehicles.
When we’ve officially opened the new store, you can easily adjust your normal route just five miles from our current location to the local Subaru sales and service and hop onto I-40 E to Fayetteville Road. The new Performance Auto Mall will be located just off Kentington Drive.
Once we are in our new location, our name will change from Performance Subaru to Subaru Southpoint. Hendrick Automotive Group has owned Performance Auto Mall since 1985, but we have always carried the Performance name. Hendrick launched a branding campaign several years ago and Performance is one of the few remaining dealerships that hasn’t adopted the Hendrick name. That will change in April 2018 when Performance Subaru becomes Subaru Southpoint. We will have the same great people and same wonderful business philosophy, just different store names and a beautiful new facility.
