Hendrick Automotive Group is committed to promoting from within, and sending highly qualified sales professionals to the JM&A finance training to further their careers in the automotive retail industry.
What an honor it is to introduce Performance graduates of the JM&A finance training school. JM&A offers a comprehensive training program for all sales associates who are moving into finance. At the end of the training, each candidate must pass a test to become licensed. JM&A works with over 3,800 dealers nationwide.
Debois Thompson has been with Performance Subaru since 2015, and became interested in attending finance school because he is passionate about helping Performance Subaru in any way he can. He was recommended by one of his managers to attend the JM&A finance training because of his hard work and his dedication to his customers and to his team.
“Compliance, compliance, compliance!” is what Debois said the five-day training focus was, which is very important when you are working with private information that should not be shared with anyone outside of dealership personnel. He also mentioned the training taught him a lot about rules and regulations that are set forth by state government and Hendrick Automotive Group. Once class is over, it’s time to study, do homework, take quizzes and go back for the next day!
You can still find Debois on the sales floor at Performance Subaru while continuing on-the-job training to fully prepare him for his future role in finance.
