Hendrick Subaru Southpoint Wraps Up 2018 Spring Meal Drive #HendrickCares

The team working hard to assemble and pack boxes

The Hendrick Cares 2018 Spring Meal Drive is complete and our employees fed 250 families locally by purchasing non-perishable items that were paired with a pie and ham from Hendrick Automotive Group.

In our previous blog, Our Employees Have the Giving Spirit By Feeding Families, we shared our kick-off celebration and our employees were given a #HendrickCares bag with a shopping list inside to make purchasing easier.  Several of our employees walked around the dealership campus to make sure every employee had the opportunity to get a bag if they couldn’t attend the kick-off celebration.   We even had a friendly competition to see who could provide the most bags, and the results were amazing.

Hendrick Subaru Southpoint Sales Manager Dave Mason gave the following response when he was asked, What Hendrick Cares meant to him,

It gives me personal opportunity to help others while combining forces with the entire

Hendrick Team to make a significant impact in communities where we work and live.

Employees used their lunch breaks to feed others with the creation of an assembly line to assemble boxes, count food, package boxes, and stack them. With all of this generous help, the boxes were ready for pick up by  InterFaith Food Shuttle in just over an hour.

Hendrick is a great organization to be a part of and allows us so many opportunities to work together to be charitable in our communities.
